Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competing with the UFC flyweight division. She is the younger sister of fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko was the first to start combat sports as an Muay Thai kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals via a majority verdict. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007, she also won a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold medal gold in the year 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muay Thai Champion in 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia has started her professional career in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and the 2016 International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were staged in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina was last seen fighting Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was achieved by an unanimous decision. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut was in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in which she fought Anara Bayanova. She won the fight via second-round TKO and then won the next 2 fights in the WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass a record of three-three. Shevchenko went on a hiatus from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she came back against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote. She then went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. Following the league's dissolution in 2018, Shevchenko was a part of Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized superior strikes to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the fight. Following this victory Antonina was given a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight after winning the first fight by unanimity. Antonina rebounded from the defeat by prevailing Lucie Prudilova's battle at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by rear naked choke submission. It was the top fight of night for that bout. Shevchenko won her first three fights before losing the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
